Question:

how can i use a DC to run a AC 220V 50Hz & 160 W motor?

it is small powerful motor and light i wanna use it as a motor for my RC plane any help!!!

Answer:

You will need an inverter and a transformer. The inverter changes dc into ac at the battery voltage, and the transformer, selected with the proper ratio to convert the inverter output to the rated voltage of the motor
Well, you could use an inverter. However, the whole concept seems really bad. RC motors are very specialized, and generally attempting to use anything else has enormous weight and space penalties. Question is, what advantages do you see in using it?
If your motor is universal, one with armature and commutator segments and carbon brushes,it can run on dc power, but, if it isn't, your motor won't run on dc power.
