I seriously doubt you have a claim. Why do you let your husband's mother smoke weed around you? That's your fault for being in that area. Tell the toking loser to smoke somewhere else. BTW allowing people to use illegal drugs on your property might be a crime as well.
You don't have any recourse or suit for being fired. Depending on where you live,they might have been required to get your paycheck to you by now. For most states, the deadline is to send it out the next regular payday, but a few states have stricter rules.
That is so stupid, what if a driver pulls over to take a piss and sets of the motion detector, are the army gonna come runnin? Motion detectors are the wrong idea it would be better to walk along the road with a metal detector. Too much motion occurs on roads and roadsides. I think they need something like thermal imaging equipment or an extremely good metal detector or some kind of imaging that can see the bombs from an airplane or something.
I don't see any basis for a legal suit here. I'm frankly doubtful of your claim that the THC you tested positive for is entirely the result of second-hand smoke. To have a case legally, you would have to produce (and pay for the cost of) an expert in drug toxicology who can provide evidence to back up that claim, controlled studies in which those who did not partake registered positive after being around marijuana smoked by others, or prove that the company did hire others who tested positive, and therefore discriminated against you. The company that believes, rightly or mistakenly, that you failed a drug test can specify to the temp agency that they don't want you there in your previous capacity. They are not obliged to hand you your paycheck. Mail is considered perfectly acceptable.
I think you have a right to your last check maybe try the labor board or something like that. I threatend to do that to one of my old boses they paid that last check so fast it was funny!!!
