Question:

How come conservatives tend to be on the wrong side of history?

How come conservatives tend to be on the wrong side of history?

Answer:

I used to build trucks. Many of them are like that as the default. There may be a switch that will keep it from deflating, but that is probably the way it is supposed to be.
Had it on my 2003 Navigator. undesirable compressor. keep had to swap all suspension to spring over marvel setup because of the fact it value a pair of million/2 as lots because it might ought to replace compressor and aspects.

Conservatives by definition resist change. Their argument against gay marriage, outlawing slavery, whatever, is that it's not normal. Which means we've always done it that way (in their heads, anyhow. The reality can be quite different.) Change is inevitable. It's the only constant. If you oppose it, you'll eventually get run over by history, and become a sad little grease spot on the highway of life.
I guess I would have to suggest you 'follow the money.' Generally speaking, democrats/liberals/progressives (pick your label) propose legislation 'allowing' whatever behavior their voters want to display to become an 'in-your-face' law, forcing others to show politically correct respect, and they want millions and millions of taxpayers dollars to promote it and integrate it into society as a whole. It's not that conservatives are AGAINST human rights and personal freedoms, we just don't want someone else's lifestyle shoved down our throats, limiting not only our freedom of speech (hate crimes/political correctness) but also our freedom of thought! I sometimes have to stop and think really hard if what I'm going to say could potentially offend someones tender lil heart and end up getting myself killed over some perceived slight. Whatever happened to 'sticks and stones may break my bones, but WORDS will NEVER HARM ME?? Nowadays, if you accidentally use the previous days term for 'black person' you're called a racist. And if you disagree with Obamas policies, then your racism is absolute and you're left to feel guilty about even having an opinion. The programs don't have to cost money. It's a shift of thinking that our country has to go through. It shouldn't be forced onto others. I don't care if gay people marry each other, but why should my tax dollars be spent to promote it?? We are all taxed to death already. Enough is enough. The federal govt doesn't have the right to step into this anyway, and it should be left to the states and the people.

Conservatives resist change. They want everything to remain the same, keep the status quo as it were. They may try to deny this fact all they want, but that's simply how it is, and how it always has been. All real change in this country has been the result of a progressive movement. As far as your comment to Christi is concerned, you need to consider one thing: Leviticus is a part of Jewish Law in the Old Testament. Jews follow Old Testament law to show their devotion to God until the Messiah comes. They do not believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah. One of the reasons for this is because they claim Christ's lineage doesn't go back to King David. The New Testament and Christianity doesn't apply to them. People who believe in the New Testament and Jesus Christ being the Messiah do not have to adhere to old Jewish law since their sins are forgiven through the crucifixion.
