Question:

How dangerous can a curved bicycle handlebar be?

I've just purchased an old-timer road bike with slightly curved handlebar, it's going down to the left side a little bit (you have to concentrate to spot it, but it's there)The question is whether I should try to straighten it up, leave it that way, or not by any means ride the bike at all until I change it entirely? It's made of aluminum, so I'm just wondering if it could break during a ride or anything. Thanks in advance

Answer:

Go to a flower shop and check out their grieving/sympathy assortments Send them a basket of Sorry for Your Loss type flowers with a card saying you'll help in any way they may need Just doing that will be perfect and leaves the door open to asking you for something they may really need from you - who knows maybe baby-sitting later? Chances are they may just need some caring words during their hard time.
Yes, its a great idea to offer to baby sitIt would really kind of you to buy a nice sympathy card and some flowersIn the card offer you condolences and let them know if they need you for anything.God bless
bake a cake take it over and offer anything you can do.
Once they are bent, aluminum bars should not be straightenedAluminum can break once it has been bent, so you bars should be replacedA broken handlebar is very dangerous, you lose control of your bike and it is very likely you will hit the ground head first
