My desktop no longer shows up anymore and typing explorer.exe does not fix it. Is there a way to access the control panel or skip that part and access windows restore because I'm no techy at all but I think my virus protector deleted my desktop. Please Help.
Not sure if this is the type of project your looking for, but you can do this for your project: You put a little bit of water in a soda can and heat it up. Heat it until you hear the water boiling and see steam. Then using tongs(the soda can will be hot), you turn the can over into a container of room temperature water. The can will immediately be crushed.
If you decide to install a security system you must first ask yourself a couple of questions. What's the level of crime in your area? How many burglaries occur in your neighborhood each week, month, etc. If you instal a system that automatically calls police. What are the chances your system will call when there is no break in? I had a system that was professionally installed at my place of business. I can't count the number of times I was called at 3AM by local police and had to get out of bed and go down to the place, for no reason except a faulty alarm. These days, the police will begin billing you if they keep going to your home when a faulty alarm goes off. If you have a system that will call a series of numbers that might be a better option. Your friends probably wouldn't charge you and if it's a next door neighbor they can just say they believe there's something suspicious going on and please check it out. The difference, NO CHARGE. OH, BY THE WAY. STEER CLEAR OF SIMPLI SAFE. THINK IT OVER CAREFULLY BEFORE DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE. AFTER HAVING AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE WITH THEM, I PURCHASED A LARGER WIRELESS SYSTEM OF GREAT QUALITY FOR HALF THE PRICE.
