i dont think you can make a fuel cell with these but you can make a salt water battery google the net for further info fuel cells are pretty complicated and the hydrogen and oxygen used is highly explosive so PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION follow all the safety procedures a salt water battery is very simple though and very risk free
Fill up two seperate glasses with the salt water. Dip the platinum wire in one glass, then to the negative side of the battery. This side will be the anode. Dip the other wire in the other glass, then to the positive side of the battery. This side will be the cathode. There is your fuel cell however usually there is some sort of permiable membrane between the two materials
