I have a pair of these beautiful gold leaf earrings, but somehow one of them got dirty and I can't seem to make it yellow and shiny like the other oneI've already tried leaving it in soapy water and brushing it with soap; and also tries bushing it with toothpasteOnly thing I've managed to do is make the dirty one a lighter, duller color than the already clean one.
Ingredients needed: 1 tbs salt 1 tbs baking soda 1 tbs dish liquid 1 cup hot water 1 bowl 1 piece of aluminum foil 1 old tooth brush Simple Steps: Place foil in bowl ( shiney side up) Warm the water in microwave for 1 min While waiting, pour all ingredients into the bowl Pour in hot water Add jewelry to mixture Let set for 5-10 minutes Scrub with toothbrush Rinse in cool water and let air dry Results : Beautiful jewelry looking brand new :))
