How do I cook (prepare) shin or short rib meat?

i would add them to the pan from the start :)
short ribs are easy to cook but must be low and slow.make a mirepoix(one small onion chopped.2 celery stalks and 2 carrots chopped) in a pot add the ribs cover with the mirepoix and then add 2 cans stock or broth(about 4 cups) ver with lid or aluminum foil and place in a 350 oven for 2 1/2 to three hours till falling off the bone!!!! You can make a gravy by dredging your ribs in flour then browning them before you add the mirepoix.or you could add 3 cups broth and a cup of red wine.!!!
Depending on cooking time (I have never made one myself either) put the veggies in either right away, or with about an hour to an hour and a half before the turkey breast will be doneFor roasts I throw them in as soon as I put the roast in and let them cook for 3 hours or so and they come out fine, so try that!
