What type of insulation? It sounds quite dodgey.
It will not cause cancerIt may cause some discomfort and irritaition for a few days if you breath a lot of itPeople who work around this stuff everyday know that you have to take proper precautions and wear a resperator while blowing it inA one time exposure is not going to do any lasting harm.
I usually rub the ribs, (beef or pork( with a dry rub (paprika, salt, pepper, ancho or chipotle chili powder), then slather on some Barbeque sauce bottled or homemade is finePreheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150C)Wrap the ribs in a heavy duty aluminum foil or a double layer of regular foilBe sure all the edges are sealedBake the ribs on a baking sheet and in for 3 hours or until very tenderIncrease the oven temperature to 350 F (175C)Unwrap the foil and let the ribs cook another 20-30 minutes to brown.
