Every time I try to crank my car it turns over and the alarm goes off. How do I permanently disconnect the alarm?
it could be the valve stem leaking too. or the rim itself break the tire off wire brush the rim put the tire back on and tell them to hold it under water in the water tank they have to look for bubbles. Dont use stop leak then you will have balance problems and your tire wont really be safe. that's works great but its a temp. fix to go get it fixed right.the valve stem could be leaking on the rim or the valve itself. put soapy water on it by the rim . take the valve cap off and put soapy water on the valve itself see if it bubbles.they have a tool to tighten that up some valve caps have the tool right on them they are metal ones
Although I don't specifically advise this (but it'll work). Find the side panel of fuses either on the left side of the console or under the hood and pull the fuse that powers your alarm. P.S. be sure to get the right one. You'll probably need needle nose pliers to get the fuse out.
Even a slow leak can usually be found. Go back to your beemer dealer and have them check it out. Don't use fix-a-flat unless it's an emergency. It may need a new valve stem or the rim may need to be cleaned up where the bead sits.
Ohhhhh you should have never added Fix a flat!!! Whoever told you that is an idiot. That stuff is impossible to get out. You may end up having problems getting that wheel balanced properly again. Damage is done though. The tire is ok for now if it is not leaking. Leave it be unless it bother you again. In that case I would replace the tire and the rim.
