Question:

How do I fix a lens that won't focus to infinity?

I have a Pentax-M 50mm 1.7 lens that will focus smooth between macro (closest focus) and 6 feet. But the lens barrel refuses to twist past 6ft. So I can't bring anything into sharp focus beyon 6 feet. This is a bit problematic. I see 4 screws on the side of the lens that connects with the camera. I'm thinking about opening the lens up and seeing what I can do. Any suggestions before I try?

Answer:

The lightning rod was invented contemporaneously with but independently of Benjamin Franklin by the Czech theologian and natural scientist Vaclav Prokop Divis (1698-1765).
To be truthful, most of the time just jeans or even shorts in the summer, and thin waterproof overtrousers if it's wet. I do have some slightly more well padded bike trousers I wear if it's cold. When I started riding in the 70's in the UK no-one wore protective clothing except on the race-track. The only time I really wished I had been wearing something more than shorts was when I dropped my bike on myself off-road and burned my leg on the exhaust before I could shift it. Small 2nd-degree burn, no big deal.
