Question:

How do I get rid of dog hair in copper pipe?

I have a fountain made out of copper pipe, it‘s got dog hair in it clogging up the holes that the water drips out, is there a way to clean it out without taking it apart? Will something like draino desolve the hair without tarnishing the copper?

Answer:

Factories often clean copper pipes with carbon tetra chloride solution. It removes corrosion in pipes as well as other dirt and oily substance. For a much safer method, you can use compressed air to blow out the dog hair out the copper pipe.
