I have plans for a picnic in the summer in central parkI will be preparing a fruit salad that may be out of the fridge but wrapped up for 4 hoursI already have a thermal bag, aluminum foil and i can make ice packsIs this adequate protection? I will be on the train for 2 hours, than taking a 10 minute subway ride than probably be outside for an hour and a half before unwrapping the fruit saladIs there anything i can do to make this fruit as fresh and cold as possible?
I wrap my head of lettuce w/ aluminum foil for lettuce in the fridge and it lasts me super long!
