Question:

How do I make my speakers stop crackling?

I have a left, right and center speaker. And the center speakers make a terrible crackling noise. How would one fix this?

Answer:

You may need to take to someone to get it fixed if it can be fixed at all. Its probably busted which is really annoying!
Get a new speaker. Sounds like you blew it out. Don't listen to your music that loud. Or it could be your settings on your deck.
Try them on a different device, a crackling indicates they are broken
Your speakers seem up to the job providing they have not been damaged previously. If there is a crackling that is usually because the paper/fibreglass cone of the speaker is split, it needs checking.Otherwise, you need to make sure everything associated with the speaker and their mountings are fastened tight and insulated from touching the metal framework of the door etc.Vibration causes noise so you must eliminate the vibration.
The speakers are damaged from being driven beyond their limit of excursion. The cracking sound is of the voice coils hitting the magnets. Replace the speakers with some with a higher power rating than the amp. This isn't a problem you can fix because the application is wrong. Maybe you can use those speakers on something else that isn't powerful enough to overdrive them. Perhaps you can use a low cut filter to cut the deep low frequencies from affecting this midrange speaker, or keep the master volume down.
