How do I polish my copper box? It has gone a brown colour and it looks very old but its quite new. The copper is also rusting how do I get this of?
If it is rusting then it is not copper. (rust is an iron thing) As has been mentioned get some metal polish and clean off the tarnish. Then apply a thin coat of lacquer to keep it a shiny copper color..
Use some tomato ketchup on a soft cloth ,this will polish your copper box .
