I have just bought an aftermarket stereo for my 08 kia rio. i intended to rewire the wiring harness however after cutting the original harness i have noticed that there are 2 constant 12V power battery wires and 2 ground wires. i have tried connecting these in all possible variations and have still not managed to gain power to the head unit. if anyone has any answers for this is would be appreciated.
Why didn't you just buy the adapter harness? You should never cut into the stock harness if you don't know what you're doing. For about $10 you would have saved yourself a major headache. zxc
