I want to use the computer speakers ( its an HP ) and i want to get rid of my speakers so i can use my computer.
what speakers i have built in speakers they work and i have external speakers that i plug into the center port if i don't want them i unplug the cable
if you want to change the default speakers you first have to make sure that they are plugged into the speaker port in the (normally) back of the computer. unplugging the old ones and plugging in the other set is all that you should need to do. Now if they are internal speakers then you would have to go into control panel sound and audio devices then change the default to the internal speakers. If you can elaborate on what kind of computer it is more help can be given.
