i have a honda civic 99 i bought it yesterday. it had the alarm. i was cleaning it so i had it open but the alarm activates automatically i was inside with driver door open. i close it moved to the back opened the door to clean and the alarm went on. then i try to turn it off but my remote doesnt turn it off it doesnt do anything. i dont think is the remote cuz i have too and none of them could turn it off.
you need friction to use the car power, unless you just want gravity to push it down a hill. If you use CD's, make sure they dont just SPIN from too much power
If it's an aftermarket, look under your dash. It should be in there somewhere. It will have a brand name and should have a model number. Google that and it will tell you where the fuse is in the alarm itself, pull that fuse and it will disable the alarm.
not purely might want to they not be keen to reveal it off, they could do not have any way of doing so. The police do not have some type of customary automobile alarm close off device. the purely ingredient they could do might want to be to run the tag and be conscious if the vehicle is registered to an tackle there, then attempt to make contact with the owner. besides the undeniable fact that it appears like you would possibly want to correctly be in an residence? usually people residing in residences do not have their autos registered to their contemporary tackle, except they have been in that residence for awhile. And whoever stated that they could tow the motorcar, that could want to be counted on the noise ordinances interior the city/county you stay in. we does not be licensed to tow a motorcar only for that in my county.
You can also disconnect the battery that will turn it off and when connected again it will still be off. Recently did it to a 2005 GMC sedan.
