how do i use window air conditioner in winter?i live in rooming houseradiators are very hot i do use the ac in winter but the compressor will not kick on how do i get that compressor to come on even though its cold outside? the ac is 20 years old and works well .there is a small aluminum tube near the filter ,,if i heat that will compressor come on ? or if i disconnect thermostat knob wires maybe ?
