Good answer traff. All I'd add is an anti-vibration table - which you CAN make yourself. Build a strong table and fix it securely to the wall. Add a couple of 2*2 paving slabs, or a chunk of marble or granite on top, so they DONT TOUCH the wall, with anti-vibration mounts (you can use pretty much any rubber for this, or make your own pads, around 3 dia * .5 thich from rubber sheet or hardened silicone)
