I've read that you need a baking pan and that you have to spray the pan with some kind of non-stick spray, I don't have any cooking spray so can I use vegetable oil or melted butter?also is it best to wrap the pan in aluminum foil to not only keep the fish from sticking but also for it to cook better? An how long does it take to bake fish, I'm wanting to bake the small catfish typethank you for you're help.
Yeah, you could grease the pan using butter or vegetable oilYou wouldn't have to melt the butter though, you could just get the stick of butter and then smear it in the panYou don't need to wrap the pan with foilI takes about 10-20 minutes to cook fishCheck the fish occasionally, it will be white opaque and flake with a fork when it's done.
I'm not from New York but look for thrift or second hand storesYou should be able to find them in the yellow pages under the names I mentioned abovePeople receive things from deceased relative and have no use for them as they think they are outdated and not of any use so they give them to the stores I mentionedYou can get a good price on them thereI had made a crochet tablecloth for my father in law and he passed awayWhen they put a price on it they said it was worth $2.00That should give you an idea of what you may be able to do.
