How do you clean your CLOTH sofa & loveseat?
Use a shampooer with a furniture attachment.
I bought the Bissell Little Green Clean machine. It works on upholstery GREAT. You would not believe the color of the water that comes from the cleaning, even if it doesn't appear to be very dirty.
you need to read the instructions on the sofa...sometimes you can't use water. but if you don't have it scotch guarded, and you've tested that the color isn't going to run, you could get a carpet cleaner with upholstery attachment and clean it that way. conversely you can hire like sears or something that does carpet cleaning and they will clean couches as well... usually though, a really thorough vacuuming is sufficient.
vacuum it and use upholstery cleaner
