How do you get wax off of cloth made of:64%polyester,33%rayon & 3% spanddex?

Answer:

Try an ice cube. cozy
Put the cloth in a freezer and freeze the wax, when it's frozen then take it out of the freezer and it should be brittle enough for you to be able to break it off easily. After that if you find that there is still wax inside the weave of the threads then wick it out with a good paper towel and an iron. Place a folded sheet of paper towel underneath the cloth where the wax spot is, then another over top of the wax and iron it. The heat of the iron will melt the wax and the fibres of the paper should wick the melted wax upwards. Repeat until you think you have enough of the wax out and then wash it with Pine Sol. This should help eliminate the wax.
i used wax baking paper on a piece of clothes the wax transfered directly from shirt to wax paper ! i tried this cause grandma did this with gum on pants so wax baking paper i would say! all this using a hot iron for shirts !
