I need some warm water for a science project tomorrowHow can I keep it warm for say.3 hours tops? I'll add it in the morning right before I leave so it'll stay a little longerPlease don't say thermos, why bring a clunky can for such little water? It's only, like 2 cups worth and I don't want to bring itAny other ideas? No boxes with newspaper, cotton or anything else for me to bring in just for some waterThank you!!! By the way, I need it to put in an empty soda bottle if it helps anyIt's for a cloud in a bottleThanks again!-Be happi, live well.
He's meowing for his mom, poor thing :( I suggest getting a heating pad and wrapping it under the blanketsGet a stuffed animal(s) and a ticking clock and put it with him it should calm.him down because it sounds like moms heartbeatAnd of course bottle feed him kitten milk replacementIf that isnt available you can also use goats milk but try looking for the kitten milk first, goats milk may be better in a few weeksTake care of your kitten I hope everything works and he grows normalGood luck!
If you have a hot water bottle then use that to keep him warm but remember to change it every hour or two so it doesn't get really cold- also make sure you put the hot water bottle under the blankets as you don't want to burn himIf you don't have anything like this then they sell them at chemists so you should go and buy oneIf this is not possible then get him another blanket and perhaps put the box in a warm place in your house like by a heater or in the hot water cupboard- just make sure he isn't getting to hotPut a teddy in there so he has something to cuddle up toMeowing could mean lots of things- he is hungry or needs to use the bathroom- at that age they need assistance using the toilet or else they can't go which is dangerousHe could just be lonelyIf you don't think you are fully equipped to look after this little life as he will need feeds every few hours and bathroom stimulation then take him to the vet or local no kill animal shelter to make sure he survives.
He may be hungry, so I would try feeding him when he criesYou need a kitten specific formula rather than a broad spectrum formulaUse a warm slightly damp wash cloth to wipe his hind end after he eats so he'll urinate and defaecateVery young cats can't do this on their own, it's why mama cats lick themI would get an electric heating pad and keep it on lowMake sure there's a blanket or two between him and the heating padI've also had good luck giving them a small stuffed animal as company so they have something soft they can curl up next toI have a collection of old beanie babies I keep around just for thisHe may also just want to be held and cuddledKittens aren't used to being alone, so they can get scared when they're aloneYour vet can give you some other pointers if you need any more help, or you can email me through my profileI worked with an animal rescue raising bottle babies and I was a vet tech for almost ten years, so if you have other questions, you can email me and I'll help if I can.
It should be with its motherWhen it meows it needs kitten milkYou probably don't have the time it takes to take care of a 3 day old kittenTake it to the vet and try to find a way to care for it right because it will die if it doesn't get milk around the clock and kept warmUsually the mother cat keeps it warm by nursing and sleeping with itThe kindest thing you can do is give it to a rescue group that fosters kittens.
I have found that the best way to keep something warm or cold is to wrap it in aluminum foilThis insulates the heat and keeps it warmHope this helped
