Just wondering how to make chocolate covered marshmallows.the problem I'm having is with the chocolate.I use Hershey's dark chocolate syrup (the stuff that makes chocolate milk) and I dipped the marshmallow in a little bowl of it and covered the top and then waited and then put it in the freezer for it to harden.of course it isn't hardened and is sticky.what am i doing wrong how do i make the chocolate harden?

Answer:

Place it on a flat surface to its exact finished size, then place a wet cloth over it (I usually use tea towels) and let it dryIt will take a couple of days to fully dryWhen it is done, the blocked shape will stayMake sure your piece is very even and flat underneathThe other way to do this (faster) is to put the piece upside down on an ironing board, and placed to the correct size, place a wet cloth on top of it, then, with your iron between warm and hot, hold the iron about two inches above the wet clothHold until the cloth starts to dry, it will steam, and do the whole pieceDepending on the knitting stitches and the yarn, do not touch the cloth with the ironI strongly recommend the first method for anything that has textured stitches or cables.
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 10 large marshmallows 1 Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each intervalDo not overheat or chocolate will scorch 2Dip the marshmallows in chocolate using a toothpick or fork to hold themPlace on waxed paper or aluminum foil, and freezeLet marshmallows sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving.
