I‘m trying to make iron weapons, which need iron ignot,, but I have no iron ore to make iron ignot!!!!! How do you make iron ore?? Or get it?
Iron ore can be found in numerous places. Various caves have iron ore veins that can be mined with a pickaxe. It can be bought from blacksmiths if they have it in stock. Iron ore can also found as random loot from Dwermer automations. It can also be found laying around forges and smelters. Iron ore can be turned into iron ignots by using a smelter. Off the top of my head I can think of two locations that have a smelter. Dawnstar - By the Quicksilver Mine enterance. Whiterun - Behind the forge at Warmaiden's.
