Question:

How do you measure grounding resistance with a zc11d-10 shake meter?

How do you measure grounding resistance with a zc11d-10 shake meter?

Answer:

The voltage level of a predetermined ohm ohm meter shall be higher than the insulation voltage level of the tested object. So the measurement of insulation resistance in rated voltage below 500V equipment or line, can choose 500V or 1000V megohmmeter; measuring insulation resistance rated voltage above 500V equipment or line, should use 1000~2500V megohmmeter; measuring insulator, should use 2500~5000V megohmmeter. Generally, when measuring the insulation resistance of low voltage electrical equipment, the 0~200M ohm range can be chosen.
(a) measure the insulation resistance (b) of the line and measure the insulation resistance of the motor(c) measuring insulation resistance of cables;Figure 17 wiring method for Euro sheet(2) measure the insulation resistance of the motorThe E terminal is connected to the housing (i.e. ground), and the L terminal is connected to the winding of one phase of the motor. As shown in Figure 17b, the measured insulation resistance is the value of the insulation resistance of the phase to the ground.(3) measure the insulation resistance of the cableMeasuring insulation resistance of cable conductor and cable casing, the terminal E and the cable jacket is connected to terminal L and wire connection, and connect the insulating layer between the terminals and the cable core shell, G, as shown in figure 17C.
Megger has three terminals, the top two large terminals are respectively marked with "ground" (E) and "line" (L), "protection ring under a small terminal." (or "shield") (G).(1) insulation resistance of line to ground;Reliably connect the "earthing" terminal (that is, the E terminal) to the ground (usually received on a grounding body), and connect the line terminal (that is, the L terminal) to the line under test, as shown in figure 17a. Connected, clockwise megohm shake table speed gradually accelerated, kept at about 120 RPM after constant shaking, when the speed is stable, the table pointer is stable, indicating that numerical indicators for the insulation resistance of the measured value. In actual use, E and L two terminals can also be arbitrarily connected, that is, E can be connected with the measured object, L can connect with the ground (that is, ground), but the G terminal must not be connected to the wrong.
