Question:

How do you properly store a car for long periods of time without damaging it.?

Well guys, I really want to decommision my 2003 E46 BMW 330i and preserve her in my garage for decades to come. I want to restore and fix whatever imperfections it has, get it all complete and fully original like if it just drove off the assembly line and then have it detailed to where the car is just immaculate, then to throw a car cover on it and let it retire in my garage. It currently has 94,000 miles and I really would like to prevent it from reaching over 100,000. What can I do to preserve it without damaging it. I heard things like putting stabilizer in the gas and propping in up so the tires wont support the car (How the hell am I going to do that? I dont own a car hoist). How do car collectors do it for their cars that sit long periods? How does Jay Leno do it? I will just stick to one car and drive my 2007 B7 Audi A4 3.2 until I get another car then I will do the same with the Audi.
