how do you put a starter silo id on a 85 ford ranger?
I assume you mean solenoid? They USED to, and may still be, mounted on the passenger side wheel well, under the hood. If its still there, it is a five minute job. Look for something that looks like a small black can with two battery cables bolted to it. Thats about the only thing I like about Fords!
Very easy, its right by your batt. Clean all the connections on it first, it may just be coroded.
