How do you set the alarm I‘ve had it go off on me twice now but don‘t know how I did it (didn‘t intend for it to be set either actually)any help?
New body style 05 VW Jetta has a passive burgular alarm. It turns on automatically when you lock your car. You don't have to do any thing. If some one try to open your car without your any of your key or key fob it will go off. Can you use both your key fobs to lock and unlock the car? All the keys including the vallet key to turn on the car? Then you are fine. If not take all the keys to a VW dealership. They can programe all the keys for you. There is nothing wrong with your jetta.
