Hey everybody, thanks for any responses. My laptop recently stopped working. It's some sort of battery problem. The problem is, I don't know whether it is with the battery pack or battery charger. I was wondering if there was some way to tell which one???It's out of warranty and the manufacturer wanted to charge me $35 for troubleshooting or drive 85 miles to troubleshoot at one of their locations. Thanks
are you able to no longer get Nickel-steel hydride (NiMH) Nicad's have a 'memory consequence' (no longer stable) according to possibility 6hours if its in basic terms trickle charging. Does the charger no longer swap-off immediately.
Hi Wat the service center will do is that they will check with another adapter ( charger ) if the laptop is work thats mean is a battery prob. If it is not they will check with other battery and so on If no thing work thats mean u have an internal mother board problem Some of laptops has a voltage regulator inside but this need to open full motherboard for it.
A battery is more likely to die than a charger is. If your laptop works while plugged in, then the charger is fine and the battery is dead. One way to tell for sure would be to connect a meter to the output of the charger and see if it's putting out the correct voltage and current.
