I'm just not feeling it. I only ask since I almost made a fire in the kitchen (accidently, I'm not a pyromaniac) and I was like DUDDDDDDDE how can a blanket put out a fire?!Thanks
Wear some safety glasses. The instructor is just advising for safety contact lenses can absorb chemicals and cause further eye problems, where as glasses will protect your eyes better.
The magnets must stay or you lose security and have nothing to do with the beeping. The beeping is actually the chime setting for your doors and it is turned on or off from your control pad. But it is either all on or all off. The chime is an alert that people are coming in and out but it is annoying. We no longer use the chime. Scroll through your menu on the control pad and you will find the chime setting. Again, don't remove any magnets.
It is just a safety precaution. They say this because sometimes the chemicals will give off something that will burn your eyes, and if it does, it will be trapped in with your contacts and it'll really burn them. If you wear safety goggles, I'm sure it would be fine. But if you really want to take precaution, don't wear glasses or contacts. Or just bring your contact case with you and when you start take them out and when it's over, put them back in.
wear the safety goggles that's all you need contacts are safe with goggles on .
