give as many details and description of its parts and how it averts the danger of a lightning strike.also give the conditions: eg. when a +charged cloud comes near it, etc.
Is your detector hard-wired to the house's power? If so, it may be chirping to let you know you don't have a backup battery installed if you removed it. And, if it is hard-wired, all the detectors will chirp or sound an alarm if one has problems. If it is not hard-wired and you have left the original battery in the unit, then you need a new battery. You might also get a can of air like you would use for computers and blow out the detector. It is possible that the internal circuits are dirty with smoke and residue. It is possible you need to hit a restore or reset button. Or unpress the Hush button. The chirping may be an indication that the alarm is silenced so you don't leave it in that silent state.
You need to put new batteries in the unit. If you wanted to sleep just take the batteries out completely and when you can check out your smoke detector it either needs new batteries or maybe the unit is bad and you will have to buy a new smoke detector. Good Luck to you!!!
I want everyone to be safe, and if this means that then I guess there is no other choice. We still live in a very violent world at there. Killing one terrorist didn't delete the problem.
My KIDS!!! That's all! Everything else is replaceable. With my kids I do include my boxer baby girl and my poodle and even the cat. The other adults in the house can get their own selves out.
its chirping to let you know the battery is low and to change it. if you dont have a battery to replace it just take the battery out till you can re3place it tomorrow.
