I watched a documentary with British film students covering this incident, two of the British students filming this were shot by Israeli snipers from behind the bulldozers. I just don't see how the UN and the rest of the world can turn a blind eye to this type of massacre. Sure, Palestinians are not perfect but no one has been treated this horridly since ww2.
when you have the worlds ONLY superpower backing you and NEVER condemning you - you can get away with anything. I mean how can you justify killing 1400 civilians - mainly women and children, civilians waving white flags and old people and no one is held to account. How can you justify killing 9 nationals in international waters without calling it piracy? But SOMEHOW Israel has found itself innocent I have heard from people on YA, that Israel is a US military base in the Middle east. So how can you condemn yourself. One thing is for sure - the world is watching and history is recording......
The UN does not turn a blind eye to these things. But Israel has a habit of bombing UN observers too. Last year Israel bombed a UN post in Gaza, and a couple of years ago in Lebanon when Israel was shelling the Lebanese, the UN gave the coordinates of their observation post to Israel for safety, but Israel promptly dropped a bomb on it and killed the UN people. Although the world is watching, we in the west get news that is filtered though Tel Aviv, because of western government support for israel. The UN cannot stop Israel because the US, Britain, Canada and a few other countries continue to support Israel.
The man who killed Thomas Hurndal was prosecuted and put in prison by the Israelis themselves, even though the action was taken under war-type conditions. So why would the UN get involved? Palestinians systematically bomb Israeli civilians as often as they can manage it. With Israelis, attacking civilians is only the result of the Palestinians placing civilians next to or on top of their military sites, forcing Israelis to kill them in self defense. Have you ever heard of Palestinian fighting groups prosecuting one of their own for killing a civilian? I don't think so. Not even if it was a Palestinian civilian. Most videos of Israeli atrocities are actually manufactured, not real events.

Come on, Israel bulldozes only factories for weaponry to shoot at Israel, illegal structures in security zones. Who was shooting at the Israeli soldiers why didn't the filmers bother to film THEM? Thomas Hurndal was involved with ISM which claims it's non-violent but has done terrorist acts. He's been dead for 6 years, so he didn't film anything recent. The soldier who shot him [Thomas Hurndall] was a Bedouin Arab Israeli, a 20-year-old sergeant in the IDF called Wahid Taysir.
