Nickel has always been lots more expensive than copper. I don't understand your collecting industrial metal if you think the world is going to fall apart. Is it a hedge or something? You do know that your chances of selling scrap nickel for anything remotely like scrap value is nil. And it's against the law to melt down nickels and separating the metals would require some expensive machinery or danger. I am just about ready to go long LME nickel myself however...
