i also have the gtx 560, but more specifically how does the fx 8120 run games, especially cpu bound ones like skyrim? I know they're optimized for fewer cores, so is there anything i can change to get a boost in gaming performance? will truning off HT help? (if there is any HT...) any suggestions? thanks
Wait for the enhanced bulldozer series coming out next year and see how it fairs Right now all the fx bulldozer are just waste of money Any quad core cpu can run all games (old and new) with ease. I got an amd x4 965 (3.4ghz quad core) and i can play battlefield 3 and same time alt+tab easily to surf/multitask The greatest slowdown to maximum performance in games will be your video card Get better video card or Sli and at least 4gb ram and your good to go maximum settings on all games coming out 1-2 years from now Although the gtx 560 should be able to max out skyrim no problem Best answer me
