How is the CNC lathe used for the knife?
I've come to say The machine tool reference point (back to zero). The cutter is close to the workpiece. Hand wheel in, light on workpiece end face. Exit the X terminal.
Find a measure in the knife patch (the Z axis is done with the knife) Drop a knife on the X axis. The prop shaft is pulled out as the x-coordinate remains unchanged.
The main shaft stops. Measure the size of the workpiece. The dimensions of the workpiece that are measured in the knife. When you input X or Z, you must add X or Z in front of the dimensions (the axis of the origin of the artifact). You can go back to zero. Start programming. The knife is complete. (because of the long cut to the handle, the X axis has a certain amount of security.)
