Is anodized aluminum the best material for screws on license plates (which are made out of aluminum)? How would stainless steel compare?

they would both last, they just don't fall out for no reasonthe steel will rust and may leave rust stains but in time the aluminum bolts get more brittle and may break when you need to change plates which is not very often.
