Question:

How long do you steam raw tamales for?

I made a homemade steamer LOL because I'm limited on resources, I poked holes in aluminum foil and wrapped it up like a bowl and put it in a pot with water, not touching the water of course, its pretty cool :) But I need to know how long to steam them for

Answer:

you can use a shower curtains.
get the blinds that I call up down blinds, they pull down from the appropriate and push up at bottom, and also you'll both flow away em a million/2 way down or a good if see out window or pull emm each and each of options down an no ordinary is equipped in
I was at Wal-Mart last weekThey had some wonderful black out shades already pre-madeNot very expensive in comparison to some I have seenCan you sew? I would go to the nearest fabric store and look at the remnants tableI saw some pretty decent material (upholstery weight) for around $1.00 a yard at one store.or.I would go to your nearest Goodwill or Salvation Army store and buy some good bedspreads (they are generally thicker) or even sheets I would cut panels a little wider and longer then your current curtains, hem to match the current curtains and then attach to the back side1 or 2 layers added on will create the darkness you desire.
There are blackout shades that can e purchasedIf you have one window they aren't too badThere is material you can get as well, but buying pull down shades are probably the least expensive blackout shadesMight still get some light around the edgesMeasure your winodws and you an install these inside the window openin if your window has space and is not flush or outside at the topEither willwork, but either may allow some light to come into the roomIf you need a photography studio, you need more help than I an give as it must e totally blak and probably have to paint the glass black thenThat won't look good outside, not at all Do you want the room dark all the time or only at timesYou could paint the window, too, by using whatever design first and then painting over the back of that to build up latersYet with the cost of paint, just purchasing one of the pull-down black out sades is probably betterMight cost you $8-12 I'd guessCheck at JC Penney or Walmarts.Could chest things like big Lots and if tey hae them, they will be at a good price, but don't know if you will find them there Good luck.
It will depend on what you filled them withYou should have a rough idea how long they will take to cookHman
