Only when the internal inspection, external inspection and water pressure test are in the eligible period, the boiler can be put into operation.
The internal inspection of the power plant boiler and the hydraulic test cycle can be adjusted according to the power plant overhaul cycle.
For a boiler which can not be inspected internally, a hydraulic test shall be carried out every three years.
The external inspection of the boiler is generally carried out once a year. The internal inspection is carried out once every two years. The hydraulic test is normally carried out every six years.
