how much does a new oil boiler cost?
We paid almost $6,000. You need to have it put in properly. Plus, we had to have the chimney relined and capped and that cost about $1,600!! Oh well!!!
Look on OKorder for boilers, I got a new one for 1,500 dollars installed it myself. Saved 4,500 $ believe me I figured out how to install it.

My husband had a new one put in his small business about 2 years ago and it was $5000. That was for the most energy efficent one installed by one of the best dealers in our area.
Dont know where you live or the size needed (BTUs) but I would guess in day and age around $6,000.00 installed I would guess hot water or steam are about the same. I live in the Northeast and that is what was quoted on average. This was just for the replacement of an existing boiler, baseboards or radiators would be additional
