That depends on the size, quality, upholstery, etc... A good quality American made carved wood sofa can run as high as $15,000. A mid-priced one could run between $2500-$4000 The cheapest molded resin sofa China would probably start in the $800 range. I'm a proponent of real wood, domestic construction, and 8-way hand-tied frames. They will cost more, but you will never replace them.
