Question:

How much water is in a 10 foot long 1/2 inch copper pipe?

How much water does a 10 foot long 1/2 inch copper pipe hold??

Answer:

Assuming that it is the internal diameter that is 0.5 inches, then the radius is half of that. Some people forgot that vital fact! 23.56cubic inches
Someone has mommy and daddy issues or you are just a spoiled brat.
15/2 times Pi cubic inches
Water piping is sized for the demand and available pressure. If you have a 6 bathroom monster house a half-mile away from the street, 1 would be pretty lite. If you have a fairly 'average' house with average water pressure, it's probably fine. I've never run anything smaller than 1 into a house. 3/4 might be ok in some cases, but the cost difference in materials is negligible and the labor is about the same. I would not try to repair a galvanized water service. It's got to be in the neighborhood of 50 years old. It's done. If you repair the leak, you'll likely just get another one soon. And take a look inside the old galvanized when it's removed. It's sure to be clogged with 50 years of rust.
No even if i get mad at them i wouldn't wish death upon any of them cause i love my parents. (runs over, gives my parents a huge hug, though they're confused and don't know why i just did that) xD
