hai how are you...its been 5 month im being a real estate agent cant get close ... im try but no close deal ...i try so hard....
you picked the worst time in history to get into this profession. in these tight times, more experienced agents will eat you alive and take all the business at your broker. you think that somebody is going to trust a complex deal with lots of contingencies to some rookie? don't think so. you would be better served to find yourself a nine to five job right now and keep the real estate thing on the side for now. that is, of course, unless you don't mind not having any money coming in.
Real estate is all about building up trust between you and the clients whose homes you sell. Charm helps and so does hard work. You'll probably have to work long hours including evenings and weekends if you want to be successful and give it at least 3 years to build up a reputation. Word of mouth means everything in this kind of industry so you have to give it time and let it build slowly. I don't know Manhatten, but in my opinion, there are people who need to sell their homes everywhere in the world, so it doesn't really matter :) Good luck
