My landlord recently replaced the electric water heater in my house. So I have a brand new 50-gallon electric water heater. However, my electric bill has not gone down in cost. The water heater is in the unheated basement and the water comes from a cold water well. A timer is not really a good option since we use hot water at various times of night and day, and the temperature setting has already been reduced. How do I purchase and install an insulation blanket for the hot water heater? Any tips for installation that I should know?
You can cap it with a 4 inch blank cap and use the correct solvent glue as well to seal it correctly. Cap is 4 inch or 100mm.
If it's never going to be used again just stuff a rag down in it and fill with concrete to stop any sewer gasses that may travel through it.
Just find the size of the drainage pipe,go to the hardware store and tell them the size and what you want.
All the time. I have really bad reflexes though so it would never work. Also I would laugh and give myself away when they asked who did it. A girl can only dream :)
