I am doing a lab on finding the density of aluminum and iron metalsIn my individual calculation the density for Aluminum was 2.88 and Iron was 8For the class average the density of Aluminum was 2.9 and Iron was 7.4.Now we have to calculate the Percent Error by doing:|Accepted Value - expirimental Value| accepted value x 100%I don't know what i should put in for the accepted value and experimental valuePlease help.

for experimental value, put your calculationfor example for aluminum, put 2.88then for the accepted value, you have to put in the value that is most accurate and precise, for this you should really ask you teacherif the accepted value was 2.70 then you will do: (2.88-2.70) / 2.70 x 100% u will get: 0.18 / 2.70 x 100% 0.06666666666666 and so one x 100% you will round 0.06666666666 to 0.1 then it will be 0.1 x 100% and u get .10 REMEMBER to move the decimals
