Just vacuum it. Vacuum the sides, front and back of the system and it will get the majority of the dust out (DO NOT use compressed air! Use a Vacuum! Compressed air can damage the system and it forces dust further into the system which is the opposite of what you want to do!) For the outside, you want to use 100% polyester (a cloth) because it's the best material (and safest) to use on the system's surface. It's also perfect for cleaning the game discs with. There isn't a need to wet/dampen the cloth at all. If you choose to clean it, use a really mild soap and ring out the cloth as much as you possibly can to get the water out (since liquids + electronics bad) alright. Or for the outside you can try one of those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Apparently those work fantastically as well. Hope that helps.
