Question:

How to clean my stuffed animal?

My stuffed cat, Salem, is really old and I really don‘t want to ruin him! I have had Salem for 14 years now and he is so perfect! My baby brother got some milkshake on Salem‘s tail and foot, and I want to just bite the bullet and wash him. He hasn‘t been washed in about 6 years, because I have been afraid to wash him. On the tag it says that he contains polyester fiber and P.E. pellets all in a cloth bag. The stitching looks relatively sturdy considering the fact that I have had him for 14 years and there are no rips or tears. He has plastic eyes and a plastic nose. he is TY brand and he was made in 1999. Thank you so much!

Answer:

please post in the proper category this is Cycling, as in Bicycling not Skateboarding
If there is any crusty junk on it, then pull them off with tweezers, and if there is a stain, use stain removal for clothes by spraying it, then scrub it off with a scrubby.
Wash Salem's tail in the sink with some cold water and Woolite.
I have successfully washed lots of TY animals Place your cat in a wash bag or pillow case And wash on warm wash ,air dry until just damp Then place it in the dryer preferably with dryer balls And this will make it all nice and fluffy again
