ok i have a corvette 1986 convertible. The car isn't perfect but i love it. the main problem for me is the rear plastic window. It is brown and is not visible at all to the inside for the outside. I need to know if there is any product out there that can go beyond the cleaning of oxidation. i want the window clear again. And yes it has been left outside for about 5 years to face the elements but i was not the first owner so i presume that it has been outside longer. so the question comes down to how do make the window go from brown to clear without buying a new top.
It is replaceable fairly cheap by an auto trim shop if it wont clean up. any good plastic cleaner applied carefully might do the trick but at that age i'm doubtful,,the car is worth if you have to replace it or call me and i'll buy the whole car!!
