i recently bought a new keyboard for my dell inspiron 1545 laptop and am trying to install the keyboard. somehow it isnt working. the system is working fine except the keyboard. and what is the keyboard cable under the keyboard?? what do i do??????
Why do you need an extra keyboard for your Laptop when you already have an attached keyboard? Well you need an USB Keyboard to connect it with your laptop. The keyboard must have a cable with USB pin. Just plug it in to your Laptop. If it doesn't have an USB pin then you need extra USB docking station through which you an connect the keyboard to that docking station and the wire from that docking station joins the USB in your laptop.
